Founded in 2011 in Istanbul, Kurdistan Publishing was founded in order to enable new kinds of participation in Kurdish publishing, to struggle against the ban on the Kurdish language and to publish bilingually in Kurdish and Turkish. For this reason, it published a book by linguist Çeto Özel. It intends to publish research and criticism as well as language, literature, and academic publications.
